Shulamit Nazarian Welcomes Seth Curcio as Partner

Shulamit Nazarian is proud to welcome Seth Curcio as co-owner of the gallery.

Curcio has served as Senior Director from 2016–2022. During this time, he spearheaded the gallery’s relocation from Venice Beach to its current home at 616 N La Brea Ave in Hollywood, and expanded the gallery’s presence by adding a second exhibition space in the same location in 2020.

Since joining the gallery, Curcio has been pivotal in the development of its program, curating over a dozen exhibitions and overseeing the addition of many artists including Trenton Doyle Hancock, Wendell Gladstone, Annie Lapin, Bridget Mullen, Michael Stamm, Cammie Staros, Summer Wheat, Wendy White, and most recently Daniel Gibson.

Prior to joining the gallery, Curcio was the Associate Director of Pier 24 Photography, a non-profit museum and foundation in San Francisco, CA, and Founder and Editor-in-Chief of DailyServing, a global online arts publication.

Founder, Shula Nazarian shares, "Seth has brought with him an outstanding level of professional integrity, knowledge, and vision to our enterprise. His dedication to each artist’s career and development has been a true asset to our growth and popularity. Seth’s leadership has made a positive impact in every aspect of the gallery, from the advancement of our program to the development of our staff. I’m excited to welcome him as co-owner and I look forward to our partnership and growth for many years to come."

Curcio says, "Shula has always put artists first, and her commitment, generosity, and open mindedness are the building blocks of this gallery. I feel so fortunate to have developed a close friendship and partnership with Shula over the years. I’m honored to be able to contribute to the gallery in this new position and to build upon the vision and foundation that she has created."
