A hanging ceramic, Wrung Wraith, adopts the phallic and zoomorphic imagery of tintinnabulum. Quoting antiquity’s jocular symbols of healing and virility highlights the significance of levity here. The existential weight of apotropaic objects and accompanying rituals is counterbalanced with humor across a number of pieces.1of 2
